Key Responsibilities
- Work according to company policies, procedures and work instructions
- Maintain the stores work environment and proper housekeeping standards
- Dispatch goods and verify quantity, packaging and delivery documentation (order confirmation)
- Allocate proper storage areas in a manner that eliminates damage or deterioration to goods
- Report delivery or product-related issues to the Purchasing Manager
- Ensure all packages are suitably sealed and identified
- Conduct 3-monthly stock takes and report results
- Maintain the rebate book, ensuring stock levels and issuing are accurate at all times
- Matric / Grade 12
- 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar storeman/warehouse role
- Experience in the textile/apparel industry advantageous
- Experience with stock control systems ([Sage/Pastel/etc.])
- Physically fit and able to lift/move stock as required
- Own transport/reliable transport to work
R10 000 – R20 000, negotiable depending on experience
