Storeman â Clothing Manufacturer

Key Responsibilities:

• Work according to company policies, procedures and work instructions
• Maintain the stores work environment and proper housekeeping standards
• Dispatch goods and verify quantity, packaging and delivery documentation (order confirmation)
• Allocate proper storage areas in a manner that eliminates damage or deterioration to goods
• Report delivery or product-related issues to the Purchasing Manager
• Ensure all packages are suitably sealed and identified
• Conduct 3-monthly stock takes and report results
• Maintain the rebate book, ensuring stock levels and issuing are accurate at all times

• Matric / Grade 12
• 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar storeman/warehouse role
• Experience in the textile/apparel industry advantageous
• Experience with stock control systems ((Sage/Pastel/etc.))
• Physically fit and able to lift/move stock as required
• Own transport/reliable transport to work

R10 000 R20 000, negotiable depending on experience
