Responsibilities

This position will maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the branch, ensuring the building is in a clean and orderly condition at all times.

• Housekeeping experience.

• Matric.

• Cleaner attired in Hollywood Uniform as per prescribed rules and regulations. Personal hygiene maintained at all times.
• Ensure work areas are clean and tidy prior to opening, during service and at closing times (this includes the inside and outside of the Branch, as well as the car park area).
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and/or vacuuming. Wash walls. Collect and dispose of refuse. Empty, wash or sanitize bins and replace with refuse bags.
• Clean toilets.
• Clean and wipe tables, counters, chairs, TV screens, furniture, lights and machines/equipment prior to team members commencing work.
• Keep service areas neat and tidy during peak periods and quiet periods.
• Use cleaning chemicals and detergents appropriately.
• Request cleaning fluids and/or worn cleaning equipment (mops, brooms, dusters, etc.) from Branch Manager as and when required.
• Declare breakages to the Branch Manager.
• Clean branch air‑con filters weekly.
• Ensure all tables and chairs in the gaming areas are maintained – monitor seat covers, request replacements as needed. Adjust table legs to avoid wobbling and report any refurbishing needed for table tops and edges.
