Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Durban, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen areas, and other common areas
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory of cleaning products
• Notify supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
• 8-hour shifts
• Work may involve standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
