Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Plant Cleaner to join our team at Msuez Uk. As a Plant Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our waste processing plant. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting in designated areas of the plant
- Clean and sanitize waste processing equipment and machinery on a regular basis
- Empty and dispose of waste bins and containers
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as sorting and organizing waste materials
- Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills Contract Details:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Durban, South Africa. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekend work may be required.
