About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sanitation Team Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations in Durban . This hybrid role requires a motivated individual who can effectively manage a team on-site while also contributing to strategic planning and remote coordination of sanitation efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring that all hygiene standards are met and exceeded, supervising cleaning staff, managing schedules, and implementing effective cleaning protocols.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the sanitation team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment.
• Liaise with facility management to address any cleaning-related issues or special requests.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, initiating orders as needed.

• Previous experience in a sanitation or supervisory cleaning role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Solid understanding of cleaning techniques, disinfectants, and sanitation best practices.
• Experience with scheduling and managing a team, ideally in a hybrid work setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
