Commercial Cleaning Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead their cleaning team in the Durban area. This role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and liaising with building management. You will play a vital part in maintaining the pristine condition of commercial properties, contributing to a positive and professional environment for tenants and visitors.

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of a commercial cleaning crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to monitor cleanliness, identify maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Train new cleaning staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Manage cleaning schedules, staff rosters, and supply inventories, ensuring adequate resources are available.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding cleaning services, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of staff performance, work completed, and supply usage.

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or janitorial industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation best practices .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning plans and schedules.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
