• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the industrial cleaning team.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures for manufacturing and warehouse areas in Durban

• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with strict health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper use of industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address cleaning needs or potential hazards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of cleaning machinery and tools.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requirements and emergencies within the plant.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, safety checks, and staff performance.
• Foster a strong safety culture among the cleaning team and across the facility.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience working within manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Thorough understanding of industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, pressure washers) and chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (e.g., COSHH, OSHA equivalents).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement efficient work plans and schedules.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks when required and supervise effectively on the floor.
