JobPurpose
Loading stock within the department. Receiving and placing replenishment stock, in designated areas
Key Responsibilities- Neatness of Forklift
- Load and offload of trucks
- Transport and stack raw materials
- Housekeeping
- Pre-operation checks and reporting issues.
- Moving pallet packed materials around the site or storage facility.
- Checking and ensuring loads are secure.
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Following written instructions and keeping records.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
- Ad hoc tasks
- Transport and stack raw& packaging materials following FIFO
- Assist with stock count
- Ensuring all items are stored in correct locations
- Grade 12
- Forklift License
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position in the FMCG environment
- Safe working practices knowledge
- Stock control principles
- Communication skills
