About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Production Line Team Leader to guide and motivate a team on the production floor at their facility in Durban . This role is hands-on, focusing on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a specific production line, meeting targets for output, quality, and safety. You will be a key liaison between management and line workers, responsible for daily planning, problem-solving, and fostering a collaborative team spirit.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operators to achieve line performance goals.
• Monitor line operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement immediate solutions to minimize downtime.

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production line operations and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a factory setting.
