Production Mechanical Engineer

Our client seeks a proactive Production Mechanical Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure the efficient operation of mechanical systems within their facility in Durban. • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues impacting production schedules, minimizing downtime.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for critical machinery.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems.
