Production Line Team Lead

Our client is seeking an energetic and skilled Production Line Team Lead to join their dynamic manufacturing facility in Durban . In this hands-on role, you will lead a team of production operators, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of your assigned production line. Your primary focus will be on meeting daily production targets, maintaining quality standards, and coaching your team members for optimal performance.

• Supervise and guide a team of 5-10 production operators daily.
• Ensure all production activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production line performance, identifying and resolving immediate operational issues.
• Train new team members on line operations, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily team huddles to communicate targets, safety updates, and performance feedback.
• Maintain accurate production logs and report on team performance and any challenges encountered.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on a manufacturing production line.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a small team.
• Good understanding of production processes and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
