Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency at their facility in Durban . This role involves analyzing existing manufacturing lines, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to increase throughput, reduce waste, and maintain the highest quality standards. You will work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and R&D to ensure that manufacturing processes are robust, scalable, and cost-effective.

• Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing procedures and technologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure product specifications and standards are met.
• Design and optimize factory layouts and workflows for maximum productivity.
• Develop training materials and conduct training for production staff on new processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is highly desirable.
