Shift Setter

Our client, a prominent manufacturing organization committed to producing high-quality products and maintaining rigorous safety standards, is seeking a skilled Shift Setter to join their team in Durban Kwa Zulu-Natal. This role is crucial in driving production efficiency and ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.

• Achieve a production efficiency of 85% - 90% consistently.
• Ensure raw material wastage levels are below 1.4%.
• Set machines according to best practices.
• Conduct mould and material trials.
• Report on and assist with machine and mould maintenance.
• Maintain machinery and moulds through proper servicing, storage, and care.
• Produce top-quality products adhering to quality standards.
• Practice high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Work overtime when required to meet production targets.

• 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven skills as a Machinist, with strong maintenance knowledge.
• Technical proficiency in machine setup and operation.
• Ability to conduct mould and material trials effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
