Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Field Guide for a luxury safari lodge in Ballito. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced guide to lead safari experiences, mentor junior guides, and deliver exceptional, high-end guest experiences in a luxury lodge environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead guided game drives and walking safaris for guests

• Provide expert knowledge on wildlife, conservation, and ecosystems

• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests

• Mentor and support junior field guides

• Assist with vehicle, equipment, and trail maintenance

• Monitor and record wildlife sightings and lodge trails

• Contribute to lodge operations and special projects as required

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Field Guide, preferably within a luxury lodge

• Relevant qualifications (FGASA or equivalent) advantageous

• Strong wildlife and conservation knowledge

• Excellent guest communication and presentation skills

• Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior guides

• Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours
