A well-established organisation within the built environment sector requires a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support quality assurance activities across active project sites. This is a hands‑on role and you will be responsible for material sampling, testing coordination, compliance monitoring and maintaining accurate quality records to ensure materials meet required technical standards.
Minimum Requirements- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2–3 years’ experience within a construction, infrastructure, or site-based technical environment
- Exposure to material testing, quality control, or laboratory processes
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping ability
- Able to work independently within a fast‑paced site environment
- Collect and prepare material samples for testing and quality verification
- Monitor material compliance against required specifications and standards
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure work areas remain operational
- Record and track all sample data accurately for audit purposes
- Identify quality concerns and escal…prompt
- Support ongoing quality assurance and technical compliance activities across site operations
