Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality inspections across production processes.
- Perform laboratory analysis and testing of samples.
- Monitor compliance with quality, hygiene and GMP requirements.
- Inspect finished products prior to dispatch.
- Support incoming raw-material and packaging inspections.
- Maintain accurate laboratory and quality records.
- Support food-safety and quality-management systems.
- Identify and report quality deviations and non-conformances.
- Ensure testing and quality activities are completed accurately and timeously.
- Grade 12.
- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Food & Nutrition or Analytical Chemistry.
- 2–3 years' relevant experience.
- FMCG/manufacturing experience is essential.
- FSSC 22000 exposure and understanding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and report-writing ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Must be willing and able to work shifts.
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment involving oils, ingredients or related products.
