Job Description & How to Apply Below

Overview

Welcome to the Games Global world — where we're changing the rules of the game.

With 1,300+ exclusive titles from some seriously talented studios, and a record-breaking progressive jackpot network behind us, we help operators level up and build their perfect lobby.

Now we're looking for
two Software Quality Analysts
to join one of our studios — and this is not a role where you inherit a process and follow it. You'll own quality on medium-complexity projects end to end, and you'll be expected to make the way we test better while you're doing it.

You'll plan, prepare and drive your own test strategies independently, take execution from first case to closure, and set up and troubleshoot the environments your testing depends on. You'll spot what isn't working, and you'll change it.

Your influence won't stop at your own desk. You'll shape how your team tests, and how quality is delivered across the studios in your team's portfolio — sharing what you learn, raising the bar for the people around you, and being the voice that says when something isn't ready to ship.

If you want your fingerprints on games played by millions, this is the one.

Responsibilities
1. Test Preparation and Planning
  • Estimates testing effort independently and plans full test coverage without supervision, using available templates, documentation or prior project material as a starting point.
  • Applies risk-based prioritization and optimization when planning, rather than aiming for uniform coverage across all areas.
  • Works effectively on projects that are not fully templatized or documented, filling gaps in available information as needed.
  • Reviews requirements for completeness and testability, and raises ambiguities before test design begins.
  • Completes planning within the allocated timeframe and raises roadblocks early at project level.
  • Plans for uncertain, ambiguous and edge-case scenarios with guidance, and submits the resulting test strategy for review.
  • Coordinates with the team to distribute testing tasks and aligns the test plan with adjacent delivery teams.
2. Test Execution
  • Proactively identifies, analyses and resolves execution issues, providing assurance that test execution is delivered in line with agreed quality expectations.
  • Manages own execution progress against the plan, and reprioritizes as build quality, scope or timelines shift.
  • Supplements scripted execution with exploratory testing where risk, complexity or thin requirements justify it.
3. Software and Test Environment Readiness
  • Sets up and troubleshoots environment issues independently on smaller projects, and does so with guidance on medium to large projects.
  • Prepares and maintains the test data needed for planned coverage, including negative and boundary conditions.
  • Escalates software and environment issues appropriately and follows them through to resolution.
4. Defect Detection and Tracking
  • Applies best practice to defect analysis and reporting, producing clear, reproducible defect records that contribute to the prevention of latent and recurring issues.
  • Assigns severity and priority consistently and investigates far enough to distinguish genuine defects from environment, data or configuration causes.
  • Tracks defects through to closure, including verification and targeted regression once a fix is delivered.
5. Test Completion, Review and Improvement
  • Analyses testing outcomes and implements improvements to the overall test approach, directed at successful and repeatable project delivery.
  • Completes test closure activities, including coverage and defect metrics, outstanding risk, and a clear recommendation at sign-off.
  • Contributes lessons learned to retrospectives and carries agreed actions into subsequent projects rather than leaving them as observations.
6. Stakeholder Management
  • Takes responsibility for the proactive resolution of issues arising from project support tasks and manages stakeholder communication and expectations throughout delivery.
  • Reports test progress, quality risk and release readiness in terms the audience can act on, technical or otherwise.
  • Represents the quality position honestly under delivery pressure, escalating where risk exceeds what the project has agreed…
