Quality Control Inspector - Aviation

Our client, a prominent aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider in Durban , seeks a meticulous Quality Control Inspector . This role is paramount in upholding the stringent safety and regulatory standards that govern the aviation industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance and repair work performed meets the required specifications and quality benchmarks before aircraft are returned to service.

This is a critical position that demands a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of aviation standards, and a commitment to excellence in the Kwa Zulu-Natal region.

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
• Verify that all maintenance documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
• Identify non-conformities and deviations from standards, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Review and approve maintenance work packages before final release.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations, manufacturer's service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
• Perform audits of workshops and hangar operations to ensure adherence to quality procedures.

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of EASA, FAA, or local South African aviation regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent understanding of quality management systems and audit procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
