CAPRISA is an award-winning global research organisation located on the campus of the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine in Durban, South Africa and undertakes research in HIV and TB at four clinical research sites in Kwa Zulu-Natal.
CAPRISA’s goal is to undertake globally relevant and locally responsive research that contributes to understanding HIV Vaccines and Pathogenesis, Prevention and Epidemiology, and the links between Tuberculosis and AIDS treatment. CAPRISA is a UNAIDS Collaborating Centre for HIV Research and Policy, and hosts the DSTI-NRF Centre of Excellence in HIV Prevention and the SAMRC HIV-TB Pathogenesis and Treatment Research Unit.
CAPRISA is offering a Fellowship designed to provide PhD graduates with a training and professional development opportunity. The Fellowship will provide successful candidates with valuable exposure to key activities, processes, and procedures within the clinical research environment. The successful Fellow will be based at the CAPRISA Doris Duke Medical Research Institute Offices in Durban.
