Brand Development Manager

A leading organization in outdoor and cycling retail is seeking a proactive Brand Development Manager to expand its footprint within key retail channels. This role is critical to driving growth across multiple dealer and retail outlets, ensuring strong market presence and operational efficiency.

• Matric and relevant degree
• 3 - 5 years experience in brand and channel development
• Business development experience
• Retail, sales or merchandising experience.
• Proven sales ability.
• Experience in retail management and merchandising.
• Knowledge of backstock management.

• Grow the company’s presence across 4x4, outdoor, and cycling retailers.
• Identify and support the opening of new dealer and retail channels.
• Build and sustain relationships with key accounts and stores.
• Visit retailers regularly to train staff on products and set up in-store displays.
• Manage existing accounts and support their sales performance.
• Assist with events, expos, and other promotional activities, which may include some weekend work.
• Prepare sales forecasts, manage stock orders, and allocate inventory effectively.
• Design and build in-store merchandising displays.
• Load and update products on Sage or Pastel accounting systems.
• Support the maintenance of the online store.
• Handle administrative tasks such as stock checks, warranties, and customer support.
• Provide ad hoc support for additional tasks as needed.
