Primary Responsibilities of the role:
- Check all incoming stock according to the suppliers list kept at the receiving area.
- Accurate checking and receiving of stock (product description, pack size, unit, batch number, expiry date and quantity).
- Check incoming stock for damages, counterfeits and expiry dates.
- Handle stock in the receiving area in a way that eliminates damages and report any such damages immediately to the receiving supervisor.
- Record any stock discrepancies in the book provided.
- Prioritize urgent orders.
- Handover stock to the put-away department.
- Participation in all stocktakes compulsory.
- Check all incoming stock according to the suppliers list kept at the recieving area
- Handle stock in the receiving area in a way that eliminates damages and report any such damages immediatley to the receiving supervisor.
