Msuez Uk is a leading supplier of industrial and commercial products in Durban, South Africa. We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and excellent service. Our company is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Junior Stock Controller to join our team.

As a Junior Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing the inventory levels of our products. You will work closely with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure that our stock levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand. This is a full-time position based in our Durban office.

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of all products
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of products
• Work closely with the sales team to forecast demand and plan stock levels accordingly
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies
• Identify slow-moving or excess stock and make recommendations for clearance or reordering
• Ensure that all stock is stored and handled in a safe and organized manner
• Generate reports on stock levels and provide analysis and recommendations to management
• Assist with the implementation of inventory management systems and processes
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve any stock-related issues
• Monitor and track product expiry dates and coordinate with the sales team for timely sales
• Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and invoices
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and transactions

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
