About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven and personable Insurance Sales Representative to join their bustling branch in Durban . You will be responsible for generating new business by connecting with potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable policy solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the sales team and branch management to achieve ambitious targets and contribute to the company's growth in the competitive KZN market .
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels, including networking and referrals.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their unique insurance requirements.
- Present and explain various insurance products, highlighting benefits and features clearly.
- Prepare and present customized insurance proposals and quotes.
- Process applications accurately and facilitate the policy issuance process efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Proven track record in sales , preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of different types of insurance products (e.g., life, auto, home).
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits in and around Durban .
- Relevant insurance qualifications or certifications are a significant advantage.
