Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and leading Social Care Workers and relief staff
- Providing therapeutic, child-centred care and role‑modelling best practice
- Overseeing case management, care plans, records and handovers
- Supporting the supervision, induction and development of staff
- Coordinating shifts and supporting the effective day‑to‑day running of the residential centre
- Maintaining safeguarding, health & safety and organisational standards
- Working collaboratively with young people, families and other professionals
- Providing calm and professional leadership in challenging situations
- Managing the centre in the Social Care Manager's absence when required.
