Senior QA Engineer in Test

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer in Test with a strong background in C#, SQL Server, Gherkin, and various testing methodologies to join our software development team at Almond Gaming. Our goal is to develop an innovative Jackpot system that includes all the features requested by the business. Our software leverages the latest technologies, including C#, Kafka, SQL Server, and Kubernetes with a Back Office built with React.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software, providing support to the current platform, and mentoring and sharing knowledge with the team.

• 3+ years of experience in QA and Software Automation
• Proficiency in C# and SQL Server
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with Load & Performance (L&P) Testing
• Familiarity with Gherkin for writing clear and understandable test scenarios
• Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools
• Good understanding of the SDLC
• Ability to work independently
• Effective prioritization of tasks
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot with minimal assistance

• Additional knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes and K6
• Previous experience with Playwright and GraphQL
• Previous experience with Jackpot systems or the gaming industry

• Develop and execute automated end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software
• Conduct API, penetration, and L&P testing to identify and address potential issues
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing processes into the SDLC
• Provide support and troubleshooting for the current platform
• Mentor and share knowledge with other team members
