We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Customer Digital Experience Team. This team consists of highly skilled individuals focused in maintaining and supporting our customer-facing websites and tools, which are essential for marketing, sales, information sharing, and communication with customers.

You will play a crucial role in building a product that enables the delivery and integration of third‑party games into our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your primary focus will be developing scalable and reliable backend solutions using .NET Core on AWS infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of backend development, game integration, and cloud‑based architectures.

• Backend Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality backend solutions to enable the delivery and integration of third‑party games into our SDLC using .NET Core and AWS services.
• Game Delivery:
  Build scalable systems and APIs to facilitate the ingestion and processing of game assets, metadata, and configuration files from third‑party providers.
• Game Integration:
  Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate third‑party games with our Remote Gaming Servers (RGS), ensuring seamless deployment and compatibility.
• SDLC Integration:
  Develop tools and systems to integrate game delivery and deployment processes into our SDLC, enabling efficient testing, validation, and release workflows.
• Security and Compliance:
  Implement robust security measures to protect game assets, data, and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Performance Optimization:
  Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks within the backend infrastructure to deliver optimal game delivery and integration performance.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to game delivery and integration, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• API Development:
  Design and develop robust and scalable APIs to facilitate communication between the game delivery platform and other systems within the SDLC.
• System Architecture:
  Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable and reliable backend architectures on AWS, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including game providers, product managers, frontend developers, and Dev Ops engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of games.

• At least 1 year of senior‑level software developer experience is required.
• Extensive experience in backend development, with a strong focus on .NET Core / C#.
• Strong knowledge of relational and/or No
  
  SQL databases (preferably Azure Cosmos DB).
• Experienced with Agile development methodologies and Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability tools, and infrastructure as code is a must.
• Experience with web‑based projects is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality code.
• Certifications in AWS or .NET development are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to communicate technical requirements to non‑tech‑savvy individuals is also essential.
