Software Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and self‑motivated Software Quality Engineer to join our Agile Team.

• Collaborate with Agile Team members to understand project requirements and user stories.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform regression testing to validate software updates and changes.
• Document and report bugs and issues using issue tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
• Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements based on QA findings.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience as a Software Quality Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools, for example JIRA and Xray.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality software solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows applications and Web applications.
• Knowledge of software development life cycles.
• Experience with defect management software and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC and Test Methodologies from project definition to post‑deployment documentation cycles.
• 7+ Years of experience and knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL.
• Document Processing/ECM Experience Preferred.
• Financial Sector experience preferred.
