Software Quality Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and self‑motivated Software Quality Engineer to join our Agile Team.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Agile Team members to understand project requirements and user stories.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Perform regression testing to validate software updates and changes.
- Document and report bugs and issues using issue tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
- Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements based on QA findings.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience as a Software Quality Engineer.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with project management tools, for example JIRA and Xray.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality software solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows applications and Web applications.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles.
- Experience with defect management software and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC and Test Methodologies from project definition to post‑deployment documentation cycles.
- 7+ Years of experience and knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL.
- Document Processing/ECM Experience Preferred.
- Financial Sector experience preferred.
