Compensation

R 45,000 per month CTC

Per month, Cost to Company (CTC). Negotiable based on experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW

A capable, independent developer who can own features from design through to deployment. The Intermediate Developer follows SDLC processes, contributes to architectural discussions, supports junior team members, and plays a central role in the ERP rewrite delivery team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain full stack features and enhancements independently
Participate in architectural decisions and sprint planning
Write optimised SQL queries and well-structured REST APIs
Perform peer code reviews and provide support to junior developers
Ensure code quality through unit testing and clear documentation
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment processes
Collaborate with QA and product teams across the full development lifecycle

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Java Spring Boot - production-level backend development
React - component-driven frontend development
PostgreSQL - query writing, basic optimisation
REST API design and integration
Git - branching strategies (e.g. Git Flow)
Docker - containerisation fundamentals
Unit testing: JUnit / Jest / React Testing Library
Linux CLI - comfortable in server environments

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Required

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
2–4 years of professional full stack development experience
Demonstrable ability to deliver production-ready features independently
Hands-on experience with relational databases
- PostgreSQL preferred

Preferred / Nice to Have

CI/CD pipeline experience
OpenAPI / Swagger familiarity
Experience with ERP, accounting, or business systems
React Native or PWA development experience
Relevant technical certifications
