Bus Driver - Passenger

Unitrans is seeking to employ Professional Bus Drivers with proven experience. This position involves driving a bus to transport passengers on scheduled services over established routes. It requires controlling lighting, heating, and ventilation for passengers, observing prescribed speeds and traffic conditions, and managing signals to ensure the safe arrival of passengers. The driver must ensure passengers arrive at destinations on time, hold the appropriate license and a PrDP, and work in a category that is restricted commercial contrast and not subsidized by government.

• Drive a bus to transport passengers on scheduled services over established routes.
• Control lighting, heating, and ventilation for passengers.
• Observe prescribed speeds, traffic conditions, and signals to ensure safe arrival of passengers.
• Ensure passengers arrive at destinations on time.
• Hold the appropriate license and a PrDP.
• Work in a category that is restricted commercial contrast and not subsidized by government.

• Have a Public Services Driving License (PG).
• Master defensive and preventive driving techniques.
• Ensure safety of both passengers and road users.
• Know and strictly obey traffic laws, avoiding infractions and accidents.
• Comply with company code of conduct, policies and procedures.
