A dynamic and innovative logistics platform operating within South Africa’s container transport industry is seeking a Fleet Controller to join its Durban team. The business focuses on improving visibility, optimizing fleet utilization, and simplifying transport operations across the supply chain.

Job Type: Contract/Night shifts

• Receive and execute volume plans provided by customer planners
• Collaborate with transporter expeditors to ensure sufficient fleet availability
• Utilize transport plans to facilitate effective execution of work
• Coordinate fleet deployment to optimize operational efficiency
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers regarding updates and instructions
• Proactively address operational issues and plan changes
• Track truck movements throughout shifts to ensure timely execution
• Monitor performance against plan and resolve deviations

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport operations (advantageous)
• Enthusiastic and self-driven
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions quickly
• Calm and composed under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and respect for team collaboration
• Dedicated and dependable
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends
