We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Airport General Worker to join our team in Durban North, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks to support the overall operation of the airport. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo from aircraft
• Operating ground support equipment, such as baggage carts and tugs
• Conducting regular inspections of airport facilities and reporting any maintenance or safety issues
• Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of airport terminals, runways, and other facilities
• Providing excellent customer service to passengers and addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols at all times
• Assisting with the check-in and boarding process for passengers
• Collaborating with other airport staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances
