Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage and enhance their warehouse functions in Durban. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and dispatch. You will supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to meet operational targets. This is an on-site position requiring strong leadership and operational expertise to maintain high standards of productivity and accuracy.

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and manage stock levels through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety protocols.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Operate and manage warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper maintenance.

• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and inventory control systems.
• Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse machinery.
