Hourly Rate – Ranging between $32 - $50, commensurate on skill sets, knowledge base, ability, education, and experience
Commissionable Incentive Program
Hours per week – 40 with the likelihood of overtime during seasonal peaks

- Generally, an 8 hour workday ranging between either
- 7 AM – 3 PM
- 8 AM – 4 PM
- When circumstances dictate and with notification there may be after‑hours service calls. (generally infrequent in occurrence)
- Champion preventive maintenance programs including tracking and monitoring to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aerial lift and material handling machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch department to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

- In-shop/Road Tech you’ll use your skills to lead a team while also performing maintenance and repairs of complex aerial lift and material handling equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. - Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
- Manage and operate the shop
- When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
- Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed through service & repair orders in a complete and timely manner and on a daily basis. This includes tracking of time and parts and providing for explanations of diagnosis, repairs and resolution for billable jobs.

- Develop background knowledge and become familiar with the equipment the Company offers, as well as equipment the Company will be servicing for
- Perform (or delegate) ANSI inspections in accordance with manufacturer forms as needed annually on each aerial lift.
- Perform (or delegate) inspection and repairs on equipment that is in return status line. Utilize tag in / lock out procedures as appropriate for any damage, repairs needed, and rental status.
- Perform (or delegate) daily preparation for equipment going out on rental the next day. Provide for updates to status boards, and complete & submit related inspection forms to the main office.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
- Understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Preferred that most tools applicable to position are owned by the candidate
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- This position is deemed safety sensitive for purposes of our Company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability best practices.
- Understanding of safety protocols and use of PPE in the shop and within the job site environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skill set with the ability to work and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
