Chemtek, a family-owned business with a strong track record of innovation and customer service, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Associate to join our finance team in downtown Durham. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of general accounting including sales tax, property tax, accounts receivable and accounts payable experience who is looking to grow within a stable, fast-paced company.

• General Accounting Duties including managing A/R and A/P
• Manage Sales and Use Taxes across multiple states
• Supervise A/R Collections, Monitor and Authorize Credit Limits
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Apply incoming payments and deposits accurately to customer accounts
• Assist with month-end reporting and general ledger entries
• Communicate with internal departments and customers to ensure timely billing and payment resolution

• BS in Accounting or BBA in Business and Accounting
• 3–5 years of experience in General Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Familiarity with accounting software;
  Acumatica ERP experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and follow-up abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities

• Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 2+ years of Acumatica ERP experience
