Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Responsible for providing financial assistance in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.

• Processing PO and Non‑PO invoices
• Responding to supplier emails within 24–48 hour timespan
• Ensuring that 90% of suppliers are paid per terms
• Creating process improvements to improve department efficiency
• Partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain to resolve invoice/PO issues
• Preparing weekly payment runs

• Minimum of high school degree and 4 or more years of related experience
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining general ledgers
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in preparing and entering financial information; strong analytical and organizational skills
