Role Spotlight Technician- Complete routine scheduled maintenance service on automobiles and trucks as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor.
- Perform basic automotive repair, adjustments and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire replacement & repairs, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Have the opportunity to perform additional tasks as outlined on repair orders.
In this role
, a Technician will also have the opportunity to:
- Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders.
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services.
- Drive vehicles into service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspections.
- Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance are complete.
- Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience.

- Pay rate starting at $42,000 annual (rate varies with productivity and annual bonus eligibility)

- High School diploma, GED or technical school certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Two years or more of experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center
- Knowledge of automotive/truck systems, tools and technical resources; ability to independently perform basic repairs and maintenance
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe and organized work area and provide exceptional customer service
- ASE Certifications (or equivalents) such as A4, A5; G1 Auto Maintenance & Light Repair
- State inspection certificate where applicable
- AC 609 Certification
- May experience loud noises and odors in the shop
- Physically active role: standing, walking, lifting up to ~80 pounds, and moving parts and equipment
- Must have own tools appropriate for the role and be able to work in warm environments where some locations may lack air conditioning
