** Director, Business Development North America (Sales Development)
** Genesys is looking for a growth-oriented, innovative, passionate leader to join our team as Director of Business Development responsible for leading both inbound and outbound prospecting motions for the North America Demand Gen team. This key individual will be part of the go-to-market leadership team and will lead a team of 50+ business development reps and managers responsible for prospecting and setting up qualified appointments for the sales teams across all segments to grow pipeline.

This position will drive all aspects of our business development organization to help Genesys achieve ambitious growth objectives and capture market share across the North America market. This individual will also play a key role in influencing cross-functional collaboration and decision-making, ensuring alignment across various business functions such as Account Executive leadership, HR, demand gen, enablement and more. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, leadership, and hands-on execution to ensure BDR initiatives directly contribute to pipeline growth, revenue acceleration, and market expansion.

This is the perfect role for an ambitious leader who has proven experience leading and empowering a team of Business Development Representatives to exceed pipeline generation and growth goals. A core part of this role is championing our business development team to reach their maximum potential and progress in their careers with Genesys.
** What You'll Do:
*** Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and process for driving opportunity creation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sales targets.
* Be able to analyze results from marketing campaigns and deliver impactful feedback to marketing & sales leadership on lead quality, volume, and demo quality to build a pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
* Create and deliver accurate analysis of individual/team results and maintain reporting to accurately track and manage Business Development Rep metrics
* Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best practices
* Drive the recruitment and onboarding of new Business Development reps in line with the future organizational strategy.
* Partner with Sales and Enablement leadership to develop a career progression plan for all new team members, coaching them to succeed in this role and future roles.
* Utilize key data points to drive the performance of the segment, consistently assessing metrics to optimize strategies and tactics. Leverage performance insights to adjust processes and enhance results.
* Partner with Demand Gen to refine BDR messaging, ensuring value-driven outreach that resonates with target personas.
* Leverage AI-driven insights and intent data from tools such as 6sense and User Gems, combined with dynamic target account methodologies, to optimize lead targeting and engagement strategies.
* Continuously enhance BDR processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with Sales and Marketing, ensuring seamless opportunity progression through the sales funnel.
* Champion a culture of learning and innovation, fostering continuous improvement through peer coaching, best practice sharing, and professional development programs.
