Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Assist the Periodontist in rendering patient care
Reinforce preventive maintenance instructions to patients
Seat and prepare patients for treatment
Tend to patients during dental procedures while keeping them calm and comfortable
Clean the operatory after treatment procedures and disinfect all areas involved in patient care
Readily set up tray sets for procedures and sterilize instruments
Expose digital radiographs
Take preliminary impressions for needed procedures
Monitor all lab cases and ensure they are ready for the patient’s appointment
Monitor lab tracking system
Maintain office dental supply inventory control system and lab tracking system
Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
Retrieve 5‑Star Google reviews
Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Dental Assistant certificate required
State of NC X‑Ray Certification
Current CPR Certification required
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift 15‑20 lbs
