Join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine in a faculty role for a board-certified/board-eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
. This position supports inpatient and outpatient consult-liaison services, general outpatient clinics, autism services, and the development of integrated programs. We seek individuals to join a growing team of clinicians, researchers, and educators to expand the range and scope of clinical services for children and families. The attending psychiatrist will provide direct clinical care as well as teaching and mentoring medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
This is a faculty appointment with rank commensurate to experience, with opportunities for both early career and senior leadership roles.
- Participate in individual- and team-based clinical activities focused on children and families with a range of psychiatric disorders.
- Engage in medical and interdisciplinary evaluations and interventions for children with diverse needs.
- Supervise medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows; provide in-service trainings.
- Engage in scholarly activities; teaching and research are encouraged and supported.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Interest in working with a growing team of clinicians, researchers, and educators; open to both early career and senior leadership opportunities.
