Position OverviewA full-time academic faculty position in the Hematopathology Division at Duke University Medical Center and Duke Cancer Institute.
Clinical responsibilities include the evaluation and sign-out of bone marrow, lymph node, and other hematopathology specimens, interpreting flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, and NGS results. Successful candidates will combine excellent diagnostic pathology abilities with strong motivation and skill in teaching, and will participate in clinical and pathology research.
ResearchThe division has large lymphoma consortia and research programs in genomic, epigenomic, and gene expression profiling of approximately 6,000 patients. Collaborative multicenter lymphoma systems provide translational research resources and cancer center support.
Education & TrainingIncludes fellows, residents, and medical students, supported by state‑of‑the‑art laboratories, bioinformatics, and core facilities.
Qualifications- Board certification in anatomic and/or clinical pathology, subspecialty training in hematopathology, flow cytometry and molecular diagnostics.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of North Carolina.
Salary based upon background and experience.
