Duke Health has Hematologist roles at our main campus in Durham, NC, and at our cancer center in Raleigh, NC. Division of Hematologic Malignancies & Cellular Therapy physicians focus on Myeloma patients, while seeing other disease groups. Physicians board certified in Hematology and/or Oncology early in their careers are encouraged to apply.
The Duke University Medical Center Hematology Position In Durham Is a More Traditionally Academic Role In Patient Care, Education, And Research.
Responsibilities Include:
- Outpatient clinic and infusion services at Duke Blood Cancer Center
- Inpatient rounding on blood cancer service
- Clinical research and the education of fellows, residents, and medical students
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaboration with the Duke Blood Cancer Center, participation in tumor boards, and enrolling patients in clinical trials
- Outpatient clinic and infusion services at Duke Raleigh Hospital Cancer Center
- Inpatient consultation on Hematology/Oncology service (staffed by hospitalists)
