Adjunct (Humanities) – FTE 0.625 (30 hours/week), 10 months;

The department fosters student analytical, creative, and communication skills in language, culture, literature, and linguistics. Your contributions will shape the future of our students and the community we serve.
Primary Purpose of Position- Teach General Education courses in Arts & Humanities.
- Hold 4–8 office hours per week.
- Participate in Humanities Faculty Development Sessions.
- Classroom management and ability to teach approximately 45 students per course.
- Computer proficiency and willingness to participate in faculty development sessions.
- Experience using Canvas and other technological platforms.
- Effective communication with students and participation in department meetings.
Applicant must hold a Master’s degree (M.A.) and at least 18 credit hours in English, African‑American Studies, or a related Humanities discipline.
