Adjunct (Humanities) – FTE 0.625 (30 hours/week), 10 months;

The department fosters student analytical, creative, and communication skills in language, culture, literature, and linguistics. Your contributions will shape the future of our students and the community we serve.

• Teach General Education courses in Arts & Humanities.
• Hold 4–8 office hours per week.
• Participate in Humanities Faculty Development Sessions.

• Classroom management and ability to teach approximately 45 students per course.
• Computer proficiency and willingness to participate in faculty development sessions.
• Experience using Canvas and other technological platforms.
• Effective communication with students and participation in department meetings.

Applicant must hold a Master’s degree (M.A.) and at least 18 credit hours in English, African‑American Studies, or a related Humanities discipline.
