Primary Purpose of PositionThe Assistant/Associate/Professor will teach courses in the discipline area of Law with particular interest in Contracts, Business Associations, Sales, Evidence, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, and Torts.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to design and teach courses at the J.D. level
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work with a highly diverse staff, faculty, and student body

Key Responsibilities and Related CompetenciesResearch: Conduct research in the field of law, publish findings, collaborate with colleagues, and stay current through literature and conferences.
Instruction: Design curriculum, foster learning, lead class discussions, provide tutoring and academic counseling, maintain records, assess coursework, and hold regular office hours.
Public Service: Serve on law school and university committees, participate in campus and community events.
