• Lead excellent science instruction in your classroom, utilizing technology, lab studies, collaborative learning, project learning, and at‑home learning.
• Develop a strong learning community with students and families, building connections and supporting personal development.
• Plan and design a rigorous curriculum with unit plans and lessons that meet all students’ needs with clear, standards‑aligned objectives and assessments.
• Participate in professional learning activities, including bi‑weekly coaching meetings to grow instructional practice.
• Engage in a data‑driven culture by analyzing and responding to student achievement data.
• Collaborate with other science team members, co‑plan, conduct student work analysis, provide peer feedback, and support school wide initiatives.

• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with literacy instruction.
• Experience using technology to drive instruction.
• Deep knowledge of science curriculum and assessment;
  North Carolina experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the North Carolina evaluation tool and a beginner teaching program.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
