Assistant Toddler Teacher

Full-time 37.5 hours/week (7:15 a.m.

- 3:15 p.m.). Year‑round (12 month position).

The Assistant Toddler Teacher partners with the Lead Teacher in a classroom of 12 students, ages 15 months – 36 months. This is a full‑time, salaried non‑exempt position in a year‑round program starting as soon as possible (January 2026). The hours are 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Minimum salary begins at $39,000.

Employer‑paid health, dental, vision, long‑term disability, EAP (Employee Assistance Program); immediate ability to contribute to 403(b) retirement (school contribution of 5% after 1 year of employment).

Applicants must have experience working with toddlers; strong preference for experience in a Montessori classroom. Physical requirements include picking up and carrying a child up to 60 lbs and the mobility necessary to reach a child quickly in an emergency. Work will be conducted indoors and outdoors year‑round. Successful candidates will be able to work in a collaborative teamwork atmosphere; have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

be well‑organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to take responsibility for and follow through on projects assigned; maintain a high level of confidentiality; ability to see; ability to hear; and possess computer literacy.
