Six-Week Position (6/15 - 7/24)- Training Week: 6/15-6/18, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Program Weeks: 6/22-7/24, not in session 7/3, 8:10 AM – 12:45 PM
During Hill’s Summer Program, a collaborative team of educators comes together for six weeks to learn and build the confidence and skills of students whoMate need academic support. Summer faculty experience training in Hill’s methodology, ongoing mentor support, and an encouraging administrative team.
To prepare for the program, summer faculty engage in online, asynchronous learning, as well as a four-day training and prep week before students arrive. Once the five-week program begins, faculty are responsible for teaching three classes in a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio, following the individual skills, methods, and techniques designated by Hill. Formal reporting via emails, conferences, and end-of-summer progress reports are required to provide feedback on student progress.
In addition, teachers are expected to attend scheduled faculty meetings; attend an evening Parent/Guardian Open House event; participate in coaching/mentoring sessions with supervisors; and supervise students outside of class as scheduled.

A teaching license is required. Candidates must possess the following attributes: passionate about teaching, compassionate, highly organized, flexible, teacher/leader. Preference will be given to candidates with:
1) a Master’s degree in learning disabilities,
2) certification in learning disabilities, and/or
3) certification in mathematics. Experience/training with Hill programs is ideal.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, starting at $2,950 for a half 찠 position Went is 4 full days).
