Primary Purpose of Position

The School of Business at North Carolina Central University seeks highly qualified applicants for a 9-month, Clinical Instructor of Real Estate who will also serve as Director of the Real Estate Studies. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Real Estate and related business disciplines while providing strategic leadership for the Real Estate Studies through the development and administration of innovative academic, co-curricular, and community engagement initiatives that promote Real Estate, innovation, and economic development.

The qualified candidate must have earned Ph.D. in Real Estate or a related field from an AACSB
-accredited program or an equally relevant accredited program in a related discipline. Candidates with a Master’s degree and significant working experience in the real estate area will also be considered. The Director will work collaboratively with faculty, students, alumni, corporate partners, community organizations, and governmental agencies to advance the mission and strategic goals of the School of Business and the University.
