- Support the engineering group through identification and resolution of machine failures and suboptimal performance through creation of work orders in the CMMS, machine analysis, engineering studies, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis
- Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Inventor software
- Apply knowledge of industrial control systems and electromechanical systems/principles to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing machine issues
- Support all company safety objectives through modification or redesign of equipment
- Provide design and project management support to the Capex Engineering and Maintenance Teams
- Work with third parties to outsource fabrications, procure necessary parts or materials, and utilize SAP to create requisitions for new purchases
- Develop, execute, and sustain predictive and preventative maintenance strategies using the plant's CMMS and condition monitoring tools.
- Write professional technical engineering deliverables (project scope statements, exec PPT's, etc)
- Assist in monitoring critical equipment performance using vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and other predictive maintenance tools.
- Assist other reliability engineers with project support as needed
- Functional use of the capital engineering stage-gate and approval process from cradle to grave - from scoping through execution/closeout
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-10 years of reliability, maintenance, or process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of controls and instrumentation/SCADA
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Reliability or Project Management Certifications (CMRP, CRL, PMP) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt a plus
