Emerson is seeking an experienced Project Management professional to grow within a global organization. The role focuses on executing Delta
V projects for the Life Sciences industry, with project values up to $20M, within Emerson’s Systems and Software business — a leader in process automation.
Available in one of our engineering center offices:
Houston, TX;
Bluebell, PA;
Durham, NC;
Round Rock, TX; or St. Louis, MO.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks in collaboration with the project team and customers.
- Lead projects to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Communicate and manage project changes that impact cost and/or schedule with customers.
- Contribute to proposal development by estimating project‑management and controls efforts, creating preliminary schedules, defining execution strategies, and performing risk assessments.
You anticipate customer needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. You act decisively in fast‑changing, unpredictable situations and adapt your communication style to connect with diverse stakeholders. You build trust through collaboration, seek feedback, and continually learn. You understand partner requirements and model integrity and high ethical standards in all interactions.
For This Role, You Will Need- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience working on control system projects with at least 5 of those years in Life Science.
- 5+ years as a Project Manager.
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving scope, financials, schedule, risk, quality, and customer relationships.
- Ability to travel to client and other Emerson locations up to 25% of the time.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project execution.
- Familiarity with Delta
V systems.
